Customer Service Representative Resume Writing Service.
A resume written for you by a real human being, someone who knows you already have better numbers than almost anyone applying, because your job measures everything.
You work in the most measured job in the building, and your resume doesn’t show it.
Customer service is wall-to-wall metrics. CSAT scores, handle time, tickets per day, first-contact resolution, QA scores, retention saves. Your performance has been tracked in dashboards for your entire career. And yet the average customer service resume says “strong communication skills” and “team player” while sometimes not even providing a single, tangible number.
That’s honestly a gift to you, because the applicant pool for these roles is enormous and nearly identical. When two hundred resumes say “people person,” the one that says “94% CSAT across 60+ daily contacts, top-10% QA score four straight quarters” isn’t competing with the other hundred ninety-nine anymore. Your numbers already exist in a dashboard somewhere, and someone just has to put them on the page.
How to write a customer service resume.
Start by collecting your stats from dashboards, QA reviews, performance write-ups, wherever they live. Volume (contacts per day), quality (CSAT, QA score), resolution (first-contact rate), and anything with dollars attached: retention saves, upsells, chargebacks reversed. Approximate honestly if exact figures are locked in a system you’ve left (“consistently top quartile” is legitimate). But never, ever invent numbers or lie about something because, in the same way that most of what you’ve done is quantifiable, most of what you’ve done could be searchable (and verifiable) by someone else down the road.
Show your channels and your systems. Phone, chat, email, social: companies staff these differently and filter for them. Same with platforms: Zendesk, Salesforce, Intercom, Five9, whatever you’ve driven daily. These are ATS keywords with real screening weight, and they belong in a clean line instead of getting buried in prose.
Turn your worst calls into your best bullets. Every rep has de-escalation (war) stories; almost nobody converts them into evidence. “Handled escalations” tells them nothing at all. “Took the queue’s escalated calls, resolved 8 in 10 without supervisor involvement” is a promotion argument. If you trained new hires, wrote macros, or got pulled onto the VIP line, those are leadership signals, so you should claim them.
One page. Because turnover in this field is high and hiring managers know it, address your shape honestly: group short stints where you can, and use the summary to show the through-line (rising QA scores, bigger queues, harder escalations) so the story reads as progression instead of churn.
What sinks these resumes.
- “People person” and its whole adjective family: free words, zero proof.
- The number-free resume in the most numbered profession there is.
- Listing five three-month jobs with no through-line when a grouped, arced version of the same history reads fine.
- Underselling the hard part: talking angry strangers down for eight hours a day is a skill most professionals don’t have; a resume that treats it as answering phones sells both the job and you short.

Asked, answered.
What should a customer service resume include?
A summary with years, channels, and one headline stat. Experience bullets built on volume, quality scores, resolution rates, and saves. A systems/channels line for the ATS. Education last.
I don’t have access to my old metrics. What do I do?
Use what performance reviews said (“rated top quartile”), what you know roughly and can state honestly (“~50 contacts/day”), and lean on concrete wins: escalations resolved, training given, recognition earned. Honest approximation beats both silence and fake precision.
How do I move from rep to team lead or CS management?
Surface everything supervisory you’ve already done: training, QA calibration, escalation handling, macro/knowledge-base writing, covering the queue lead’s day off. Write the summary toward the lead role and let those bullets show you’ve been doing pieces of it.
Should I use AI to write my customer service resume?
You can, and you’ll get the “excellent communication skills” resume everyone else in the pile has. A human writer digs your actual numbers out of you and builds the page around them. That’s been our whole thing since 1999.
